Russ, Thanks so much for the wonderful information. I continue to be confused about the discrepancy in the Nathaniel Slosson memoir naming Slosson Reid's mother as Caroline Schenck Spoooner on p.16, but Corneila S. Spooner on p.31, bottom. Do you think there is a possibility that these two women are one-in-the-same (same letters in different order; even Corneila's middle initial is "S", pointing to Spooner)? My Aunt Gladys Reid Kenny Smith and CorNELIA Reid Kenny are buried in The Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn with my father's family, the Kennys (Longford, Ireland); Lot 25354, Section 166; free access to burial records.
