There is another error in my previous posting. The children, Karl (Charles), Louis, Christian, Julia and Frederick were only some whose parents were, Magdelena, and Johannes Sponheimer who came to the U.S. in 1864. I think that there were at least ten children born to them and do not know all their names. Charles came over with them in 1864 and I think two other children, possibly twins, Adolph and Elize. Do not think that all survived to adulthood.

Children of Frederick and Catherine were John F.(my husband's father) Julia, and two other older boys. John F.was the youngest and born in 1902. I do not know his brothers names. There were at least two older brothers, possibly three.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me. I am STILL LOOKING for any ancestors or living cousins.
