William m. Susannah Cole is yet another William Splawn from my ancestral line. They were all in Rutherford County in the 1840's and 1850's.I have evidence of four, maybe five William Splawns in this era.Susannah died and this William married again. He is buried at Holly Hill or Springs Cemetery. My William Splawn is buried in a family cemtery in now Polk County.Mine appears to have always lived in present day Polk County near Sandy Plains and then on White Oak Creek on # 9 near Mills Springs.
