Hi Denver,
Thomas my gggrandfather was Hansfords younger brother. You may already know that they were given land grants of The Republic Of Texas.There is alot of info. in my folder of Splawns let me know just what you need to know I may have a question or two for you about Hansford. My ggrandfather was named after him (Hansford Hampton)my Papaws name was Hansford William my fathers name was Illie Hansford and my brother named his son James Hansford.Do you happen to know where the name came from ?
