I found some more info on my Spires. My great grandfather was James Albert Spires born 9/30/1828 died 11/23/1912. He was married to Nancy L. Raines. They had the following children, Benjamin, Manley, John (possibly John Albert), Leona, Lizzie, Alice and Mamie Ida Anna Lou (my grandmother which went by Ida) Ida married Edwin Sorrell Murphy and lived in Lauderdale County Alabama. They had 5 children 3 of which are still living. They were Ioma (decd), Lloyd Edwin (Buddy), Billie Ruth (decd) Yvonne and Faye. Hope this helps some.
