Hi - I have just researched a William B. Spinks who married a Marian/Merium Adeline nee unknown. I believe this could be a son of your William B. Spinks. I am researching the Spinks as they married into my Whitfield line. Here is what I found:

1880 Census - Dallas, Paulding Co, GA
Roll: T9_160; Family History Film: 1254160;

-Josephus - Age 25 - Son - Single - Farming - GA
-William Z. - Age 18 - Son - Single - Farming - GA
*NOTE: Sarah Angelina probably.
NOTE: Their daughter Samantha was living next door in the 1880 Census - it showed her age 23, a widow with a 3yr old son (John L. Barnett/Bennett) and Mary A. Spinks (shown as sister) was living with her.Although, it shows Mary's age as 11yrs old?? and she was supposedbly born in 1848 which would have made her 32? Hummm??
The daddy, William B. Spinks, died in 1885 and his son, Joseph/Josephus took over as the head of the family.
See notes for Joseph Spinks (Head) for the 1900 Census which shows the entire family.
Hope this helps some.
