I'm trying to track down my branch of the Spinks family in GA and need some help.
My great-grandmother was LAURA LEE SPINKS, who was born in Marion County, GA on 9/11/1867. She married RICHMOND CARROLL RUSH (his 3rd wife) on 11/10/1891 and they had 8 children.
I have no information about my GG-grandfather Spinks, but from family records, I know that her mother's name was REDDICK (or REDDUCK) ELIZA SPINKS. From her obituary I find that she had 4 living siblings at the time of her death: ROL SPINKS of FL, ZACK SPINKS and WILL SPINKS of Atlanta, TX, and a 1/2 sister, DICEY SPINKS PARKER of Buena Vista, Marion County, GA.
I've searched the Spinks forum, but so far have been unable to make the family connection, despite the apparent Rol - Rolly link. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
