Walt and Linda,
There may be an older Eldred/Eldridge/Eldredge Spink.
I am looking for one born before 1790 in RI, who may be related to Lydia Spink (cir.1748 RI - 1804+ VT). She married James Westcott in RI in 1764, then moved to VT. Their youngest son was Eldridge Spink Wescott (1790 RI - 1854 WS). I have most of her descendants, but no ancestors.
I have found a Robert Eldridge Spink, and a Richard Eldridge Spink (d. 1905 in MI)
I am aware of several others looking for Lydia's ancestors. Contact me for a list.
