I believe that Anice Spink is his sister. She is my GGG Grandmother.

Anice Spink, m. 1808 to Stephen Andrews probably around Coventry, Kent RI. Anice is the daughter of Henry & Mary (Matteson) Spink, then granddaughter of Waite Spink and Unknown (I believe Henry to be a child born out of wedlock), great-grandaughter of Benjamin Spink and Jane Wrightman, great-great grandaughter of Capt Ishmael Spink and Deliverence Hall, finally great-great-great grandaughter of Robert Spink and Alice Hewes.

Sheffield Andrews, (b. 1787 in Coventry, RI) the son of Anice Spink and Stephen Andrews m. Phebe Kettelle. Anice's grandson, Pardon Thomas Andrews m. Mary Ann Greene. The daughter of Pardon and Mary Ann was Iva Elizabeth Andrews, b. in Coventry, June, 1872. Iva was my maternal grandmother. Iva d. in Barrington, RI in 1944.

My mother was Iva's only child - born late in life. Iva had only one sibling, a twin, Pardon Irving Andrews, who had no issue.

Mary Matteson is named as "Mary Spink" in her father's will.

I would love to know the father of Henry Spink, son of unmarried mother Waite Spink. Waite Spink did later marry - John Hall - and gave birth to two more sons, surnamed Hall.
