In February 1838, Scott Co. KY records list the marriage bond of Sally SPELMAN or SPILMAN and Jelson M. TRIPLETT, Jr. (or TRUSSELL....the handwriting of the original being unclear). Others mentioned within this document are:
Jilson TRIPLETT/TRUSSELL (presumably the groom's father....I believe Sr. to be the Jilson TRUSSELL who m. Elendor JOHNSON, Clark Co., KY, 1795), W. T???(relationship to either party unknown), and witnesses Z.C. OFFUTT and R. COLEMAN.
I am researching this TRUSSELL line, and would like to learn about Sally SPILMAN/SPELMAN's family. Thanks in advance for any replies.
