I'm looking for information about Lydia Spickard.

According to John Carroll Powers' History of the Early Settlers of Sangamon Co. (1876), p. 427, Lydia Spickard was born 17 June 1807 in Botetourt Co., VA and married James W. Keyes on 9 January 1827, also in Botetourt Co.

James and Lydia had ten children; two were born (and died) in VA, and eight more in Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL, where the family moved in April 1831. James was the proprietor of a tailor shop, a Mason, and also served as the postmaster of Springfield. He lived there until his death in 1888. I don't know where or when Lydia died.

Any information about Lydia's ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
