Sorry, I can't find the exact citation for Ann's will and John's marriage. I'm in the process of reorganizing my files. Check the LDS microfilm at www.familysearch.org to get copies. I haven't worked on this line for a while.

Lones' ms, pp 24-25:
Will of Theodorus Spahr [Berkeley Co (W)VA]:
"In the name of God Amen. I Theodorus Spaw of Berkeley County and Commonwealth of Virginia considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following - I give to my well beloved wife Dorothy the whole and sole use of the Plantation whereon we now live during her natural life Also I give my said wife one third of all my Personal Estate I give to my son John Spaw his Heirs and assigns forever if he the said John shall be alive at my decease the whole of my land lying in the State of Kentucky But if my said son be dead then it is my will that my said Kentucky lands be sold and the money arising from such sale be equally divided among my Daughters namely Nancy, Elizabeth Mathews, Catharine, Rebecca Meeks, Sarah Jackman, Susannah Spaw, Fanny Spaw, and Ruth Spaw - I give to my three Sons Henry Spaw Edward Spaw and Simon Spaw their heirs and assigns )after the decease of my said wife) the whole of my lands wheron I now live to be equally divided among them - I give to my two daughters Elizabeth Mathews and Rebecca Meeks each the sum of one dollar. I give to my six daughters Nancy, Catharine, Sarah Jackman, Susannah Spaw, Fanny Spaw and Ruth Spaw each the sum of ten pounds Pennsylvania currency. The remainder of my estate, if any, after paying my just debts and funeral charges, I leave to be equally divided among the whole of my Daughters. I appoint Joshua Hedges of this County sole executor of this my last will and testament, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.
"The last Will and Testament of Theodorous Spahr, written 1 July 1807, was presented and proven at a Court held for Berkeley County the 22nd day of February 1808. Berkeley County Will Book 4, pp. 192-193."
As I understand the story, after Theodorus and Ann Spahr went to what is now Clark Co KY, Ann ran off with Jacob Smith. Theodorus traded two hundred acres for a horse and hightailed it back to Berkeley Co VA (now WV) where he married (2) Mrs. Dorothy Davis. (See Filson Club Quarterly Vol 2 #3 - Rev John Shane's interview with Pioneer William Clinkenbeard). This interview is in the Draper mss, CC11.
Ann's children William and Jacob are apparently the children of Jacob Smith. Both seem to have usually used Smith as a surname. The other children listed in Theodorus' will but not in Ann's are children of his second wife. Children of Theodorus and Ann: Theodorus Jr. ca 1773-c1805, John m Amelia Lander 6 Oct 1816 (Clark Co KY), Nancy m (1) Matthew Thompson and (2) Glover Matthews (Clark Co KY), Elizabeth m Nathaniel Matthews, Catherine m John Gosney 25 Mar 1799 (Berkeley Co VA), Rebecca m (1) Meeks, m (2) Stephen Thompson in 1814.
I also have that Amelia was the daughter of Jacob Landers, who was the bondsman.
Could I get information on John and Amelia and their children?
