Hello,
I know this is probably a long shot but I have to try it. My Name is Aaron Pope and I am looking for information on parts of my family. My gr gr gr grandmother was Mary C. Spencer. She was born in North Carolina in abt 1800. Her father was Benjamin Spencer and Mother was Elizabeth Johnson (I believe) She Married James Pope on March 7 1821 and had I believe 5 Children. One of whom is my gr gr grandfather Alexander Pope. I know quite a bit about Mary's Side but I am looking for information on James. In fact I'm looking for any information on James. The fatherest I have gone back on him is there marriage. I believe he was born in North Carolina as well abt 1795. They Married in Mecklenberg North Carolina. If you have any information on James Please contact me. I can't seem to get any farther than that.
