Philip Spencer b. ca. 1835 TN, was in Nodaway Co., MO. in 1860 and has been reported as killed with Sterling Price's Volunteers. I can find no record. I would also like to know where in TN he and his wife Louisa, b. ca. 1840, were from. They had two children Marcus and Sarah Elizabeth, both born in MO. Sarah b.1859 married John Terry "J.T." Bailey.
