I can't tell you how the noble Spencer family descends, but it's my understanding they all trace back to Henry Spencer. I can get you back that far from Moses. Incidentally I also descend from Moses Spencer, through daughter Temperance who married James Sparks.
Moses was son of William D. Spencer b. 1706 m. Sarah Hill.
William was son of Alexander, b. Sep 23, 1689 m UNK.
Alexandar was son of Nicholas, b. 1624 m. Frances Mottram.
Nicholas was son of Nicholas b. 1581, m. Mary Gostwick.
Nicholas was son of Nicholas m. Mary Elmes.
Nicholas was son of Robert m. Rose Cockayne (also a very interesting family).
Robert was son of Thomas b. 1514 m. Anne Bulkeley.
Thomas was son of John b. 1480 m. Anne Gerrard.
John was son of Robert b. 1460 m. Anna Peake.
Robert was son of John b. 1433 m. Ann Eupson.
John was son of Robert b. 1406 m. UNK Smythe
Robert was son of Thomas b. 1378 m. Margaret Smith
Thomas was son of Henry G. b. 1353 m. Isabel Lincoln
Before that they were the "de Spencers," so Henry is considered the beginning inf the line, though Rootsweb does have info back several more generations.
