I am searching for information on Amanda Spencer (born 1842?). Her parents were George Spencer (born circa 1803) and Cordelia Ayer/Ayers (born circa 1810). Amanda married Henry Owens (born circa 1837). They had a daughter Margaret Ellen Owens (born 1870, Prentiss, Maine) who married Steven Sewall Tucker. Their daughter, Esther Amanda Tucker (born 29 Nov 1897, Maine) was my grandmother. She married Percy Frank Leighton 14 Mar 1917, and died 6 Aug 1934 in Pittsfield, Maine.
Does anyone have any info on this line?
I can trace the Spencer line back to Thomas Spencer born 1596 in England (died 15 Dec 1681, Kittery, Maine) married Patience Chadbourne died Nov 1683 Kittery, Maine; but I have no info on Henry Owens at all, and have no info on Cordelia Ayer/Ayers at all either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
