Lee, Here are directions for the Oneida Online history you need to research Oneida Spencers. Put genweb, NY in your search engine. You will be asked to choose a county on the map shown. Click on Oneida. On left side of your screen will appear a list of choices. Scroll down to the third one from the bottom which is labeled ~search~ and click on it. A box will appear in the center of your screen. Type in words Pioneer Camden. Another list will appear and scroll down to number 5. Then go down that list which is alphabetical for last names to the s group and Spencer. Ebeneezer will be the first of the four Spencers shown and will name all the children in the family and much more. Don`t forget to scroll sideways to get the full value of each page listed. Truman Spencer was another interesting personality you might want to check. Regards Wendell Spencer ps The woman who married Ephraim is the person identified by Flora Clark to be David`s cousin because she had the Spencer name. Instead she had married a cousin Spencer and was a Woodin, but they got her home town correct. She married David after David`s wife of many years died and he was in his 70`s. But the speculation about a Mass. wedding of a cousin in her hometown of Stockbridge, Mass. was wrong. I have learned that sincere genealogists have valuable things to say even when they don`t hit the mark perfectly at times.
