His first wife was Hannah Spencer, daughter of Gerard Spencer and Hannah (probably Hills) They were married about 1663 in Haddam, CT. All of Daniel's children were with his first wife, Hannah Spencer. Daniel's third wife was Hannah Spencer Sexton, daughter of Gerard's brother Thomas Spencer, widow of George Sexton of Windsor, CT. Daniel and Hannah Spencer Sexton were married in 1698.
