Hi. I notice your posting reqesting info re: Gr.grandparents. I have looked up marriage for your James Mauldon Spenceley to Sophia Ann Tatham in Stepney 1846.
They married in the 4th Qtr. of 1846 at Stepney.
and the record is contained in Vol. 2. Page 522.
If you write to the London office you will be able to obtain the actual marriage certificate which will give you lots of information including who their parents (your Gt, G/parents)were. If I can help you further please ask.
I have a Spenceley marrying into my family in the 1700's in Yorkshire. Have you any Spencely info.? are you in England or otherwise?
Regards,
Malcolm Pennock Moore.
ps. If you cannot find the London office address I will try and find it for you.
