My great grandmother is Martha Tennessee Lee Spence of Arkansas. She married James Thomas Helm. Does anyone have any information about her. I seem to be running out of clues. She was born in 1866 in Flint, Arkansas. Family members tell me that she was 1/2 indian. This doesn't seem to jive with her parents names, (William A Spence and Emmala C. Grills). Anyway, any new information would be greatly appreciated.
