I am researching a Spell ancestor. I came across an affidavit by Mrs. J. R. Williams who was living in Charleston, SC, in which she says that James Benjamin Williams, Sr. of Branchville, Orangeburg, SC, was the son of Carolina Victoria Spell, b. 18 Mar 1886. Mrs. Williams was his aunt. I have found a couple of Victoria Spells but not a Carolina or Caroline Victoria Spell. Does anyone have a connection to her? Thank you.
