William Jones and wife Mary of Chowan Co., NC had a daughter Elizabeth who married Thomas Speirs. William Jones' will of 1722 was contested by Thomas Speirs in 1723 on behalf of his wife, daughter to William Jones. One known son of Thomas and Elizabeth Jones Speirs was named William Lewse.
