John Speir, Edward Salter 1760's Red Banks Landing

I am writing a thesis on Red Banks Landing in Greenville on the North Side of the Tar River. I am trying to trace the lineage of the property. I have a copy of the deed from Beaufort Co. to John Speir. He left the property to his daughter Cleare. I am having difficulty beyond this point. The information I have states that she was married to Mr. Harden. I then found out that a property that once belonged to John Speir on the N. side of the Tar was sold to a Thomas Nobles from a Robert and Clare Salter on May 7, 1766. I was wondering if anyone had any more information regarding Red Banks Landing and the Thomas Nobles connection. I would greatly appreciate any help that you could give me. Thanks, Kathy Southerly
