Looking for any information regarding Louisa Speir. She was married to an Andreas Metternich, my gggrandfather (b. circa 1850) and had a son named Andrew (b.1870).
She may have had a sister named Elizabeth or Elise who married Andreas later and had two children with him: Anna (b. 1874) and Christian (b. 1876)--my gggrandfather.
I'm not sure if Louisa, Elise and Elizabeth are two or three sisters or possibly the same woman. All three names are listed on birth certificates for the 3 Metternich children and as a wife to Andreas.
They lived in Newark, New Jersey but were born in Germany. they probably emmigrated between 1870 and 1874.
