Can anyone please give me any information on my Spier-Speir line, or Ayrshire, Scotland? My grandfather, Allan Spier was born in Kilmarnock, Ayr, Scotland on 3 Mar 1866 to John Cuthbertson Spier and Annie Cameron Marshall. John C. Spier's parents:Allan Spier and Mary Torrance. Allan Soier's parents:Allan Speir and Elizabeth Brown. It has taken me many years to find this much information, and I'm sure that someone out there must know something about these people. Any information will be greatly appreciated, and I will gladly trade for look-ups in the Census Index Books.
