I don't know much, Im really young(28) but I paid attention when my mom had been talking. My grandmother's maiden name was Lorraine Speight Williams(died 1979 or 80). Her family is from Greene county in NC( SNOW HILL, WALSTONBURG). I don't have her parents names but my gmothers brother's name is James Speight, I think that those people you speak of was possibly my grandmothers greats. Let me know if you come acros anything else.
