Wm Speight/Spike of Hancock Co GA
I am seeking information regarding a Williams Spike/Spight/Speight of the early Hancock County Ga records. He requested and was appointed administrator of MRS. BYRE BYRUM'S ESTATE November 1800 and Jan 5, 1801 after having obtained a $5,000.00 bond, [Shadrack Roe was his security].
He held a sale of Mrs. Bynum's estate, 4 Feb 1801, but didn't distribute and settle the estate until 1 July 1816 when he applied for letters of dismissal after having presented the court with receipts in full from:
Wm. Bynum, Betsy Bynum, John Bynum and Sally Bynam.

My question is ..... what, if any, is the relationship between William and Sarah Speights and the Bynum family? Is there any possibly that Sarah Speights could be the sister of Byre Bynum and raised her children after the death of their parents?
Where was Wm. and Josiah Speights from prior to Georgia?
