Mike, Thank you for your response. At least now i know not to look toward Jacob as her Father. Didn't Peter Henry Speers have a couple of brothers tht came over about the same time? I have not researached it yet but I wonder if one of them could be Regannah's father. Her mothers name being Regina would led me to believe that Peter and REgina were her parents but there is no evidence tht they ever were in Kentucky and Jacob would be too young to be her father so that leaves me with the question of who were her parents. That leaves the brothers and she could have been named after Regina like some of our family are named after favorite aunts and uncles . Just a thought. Please let me know if you think this avenue is worth researaching. Thanks again. Barab
