Hey Speer's!
I need a little help with Carl Leon Speer. He would be my biological grandfather. I was adopted and have found my biological mom and one sister, and am on the hunt for the third sister. Carl and Jennie Fay Whiteman had my mother, Kathleen Elaine Whiteman. I met her once and she has now passed away, so I am hoping for some help. Kathleen told me that her parents had passed away as well, but she was also suffering from head trauma due to a car accident when I met her, so I can't confirm that the information is accurate. I am trying to track down when and where my oldest sister was born, so I thought I would take a chance here, if any of you know or remember Carl Speer, I may get a clue. As far as I can tell, Carl and Jennie weren't married. My mother was born in 1954, so I would assume that Carl and Jennie were born about 1934ish. I did find one Carl L. Speer in SSDI, but he was born in Oct of 1939, which would have made him 15 when my mother was born. This however may have been the case. I also have a document with an address for Carl on it from 1970, which gave the address of 508 No. 6 St. It doesn't give a city or state, but the other information would suggest that the address is in or around Wapato, WA (possibly Yakima). Other possible locations are WA, OR (and maybe ID, CO or CA, but unlikely). Our family's story is a sad one, but my sister and I would still like to find our oldest sister. I appreciate any clues, leads, information that can help even a little. Thank you all for your time and consideration.
