Hi,

Can anyone help me? I'm looking for any info on my 4th great grandparents William Speer and Margaret McCool. I believe they were married in 1833 possibly in Castledawson, Ireland. William born in Ballynougher, Ireland and Margaret born in Toberhead, Ireland. Margaret was also sometimes known as 'Jane'. I have seven children for this couple;
Elizabeth - 1836 Ballynougher
John - 1837 Ballynougher
Samuel - 1839 Ballynougher (died in infancy)
Samuel - 1842 Ballynougher
William - 1843 Ballynougher
James - 1845 Ballynougher
Jane - 1849 Ballynougher

I a descendant through John. He came to Melbourne, Australia in 1857 aboard the 'Lightning' from Liverpool. He died 14 Nov 1918 in Corop, Victoria, Australia. In 1866 he married Martha Patterson (daughter of John Patterson and Mary Osborough, from Cappagh, Ireland).
