Bo, I certainly wish I could help you with a picture. My 2nd great grandfather, Patrick Duckworth Speed, was a brother to Martha (Mary) Jane Speed. I have a picture of Patrick and possibly, just possibly, I have a picture of your Mary Jane Speed. I'll gladly make you a copy and send it. Please contact me at rpbeattie@sbcglobal.net
Can you tell me where the cemetary is located? On a trip one summer we turned off the main highway to find Williamsburg, MS and possibly, the cemetery. We stopped at a furniture store there--just about the only occupied building we could find--asking for directions, but folks there didn't know of one.
Just as a point of reference, Patrick divorced and remarried. His daughter, Martha Jane Speed, married George Jefferson Campbell who was the same age as her father. They married in Freestone Co. Texas, as that's where some of the Speeds moved. George Jefferson and Martha Jane Speed Campbell are buried in Shawnee, OK.
