Robert Malcolm Speed was my uncle. His brother, Kenneth Carroll Speed, was my father (RIP 1987). Robert was the son of Roland Miller Speed and Mary Inez Stalker @ 1934. I did not know Bob well, but I'm willing to answer anything I can - there wer five siblings - three boys and two girls. All but the youngest are deceased. I have some limited contact with his children (my cousins).
They lived, at least when they were in school in the area of Creston, IA., in Union County. I believe Bob lived somewhere in the areas north west of Ottumwa after that, but don't quote me.
