Speeds of County Durham early 1800s

I have a family diary in which it says that Eleanor Speed was born in the parish of New Lambton, County Durham in 1800. This is near Chester-le-Street. I have found a Robert Speed who could be her father, but no baptisms. I suppose they were non-conformists. Does anyone know more about this family?

Soemewhat quaintly, Eleanor is entered in the IGIndex as marrying Hannah Wight in 1825. She actually married Harrop Wight, my great great Grandfather
