I am seeking information or contact with descendents of Russell Barnett SPEED b June 13, 1903, in Manhattan, NY d. August 1970. His last known address was 17 Garretson Road, White Plains, NY 10604.
He and his wife, Rena A. SPEED, were listed in the White Plains telephone directory in 1970. Rena A. SPEED was listed in the White Plains telephone directories 1971-1978.
Russell SPEED's parents were George Henry Russell SPEED and Ada JOHNSON (the sister of my grandmother, Hannah Johnson Herlihy).
Ada JOHNSON's parents were Alfred JOHNSON and Elizabeth, maiden name unknown.
Russell SPEED was a teacher at Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx, NY.
His only sibling, Florence SPEED, married and moved to Long Island, NY. Her married name is not known.
I have been researching the Johnson family and would be glad to share with any descendents of Russell SPEED or his sister Florence.
