I have already been in touch with the original submitter of the info that our Surilda Jane Dunehew was a SARILDA JAMES, and she couldn't give any verification for that info. In fact, she had forgotten where she found it even. So I gave her the info we have that verified that our Surilda is SURILDA JANE DUNEHEW and here it is as Surilda is my GG Grandmother.
SURILDA JANE DUNEHEW is the daughter of WILLIAM C. DONAHOO and wife MARY HARRELL. Surilda is listed in their 1850 census shown below and then I have the other data of her as well as the wife of SPENCER ALVIN MCAFEE, Sr. who was born Jan. 15, 1832 NC or GA, and have his full verifications as well. The SURILDA JAMES you had listed in the info you posted, wasn't the right age to be our SURILDA per her fathers census data. - Tina Rogers Beller

Harrison Times of Dec. 7th, 1912 -Spencer McAfee, aged eighty years and ten months passed from this world to the world beyond on Nov. 14th, 1912. He served in the Civil War, was a minister of of the gospel, a good citizen and loved by all those who knew him. He leaves a wife, three sons and three daughters to mourn his loss. He was laid to rest in the York Cemetery. Rev. John Carter conducted services.
