Edgar Lewis Spann was my great-grandfather and Soloman Dobson Spann was my great-great uncle. Pearl Spann Elementary School in Jackson MS was named after Susie Pearl Spann. I have more information regarding Edgar Lewis Spann's children, etc., including names and photos from a family cemetary off Spillway Road in Rankin County MS.
