I was upset to learn that Leticia Hyde died earlier than we thought. I have talked with Joe Spann (FL Library genealogist) about this. A lady contacted us on this GenForum and said that she had found Hartwell Hyde's will, which noted that Leticia had died, leaving only three children. Since I know that my James Spann was the son of William Spann, along with other siblings, Benjamin, Bird, to name a couple, then we know that William Spann must have re-married after Leticia's death. Joe Spann researched the information and found that another researcher had sent him the information that supposedly Leticia Hyde Spann had gone to Eatontown, Texas, and died there about 1848. I am presently trying to contact the people who gave Joe that information to see where they got the info from.
Any info would be appreciated.
