My Grandfather Roy Bland moved from Pelahatchie by 1906 to Ocean Springs, Miss. then to Alexandria, Louisiana about 1918. Could be a connection with my Great G.Grandfather, William H. Bland, He lived in Pelahatchie til he died in 1898. Some of his children went to New Orleans, La. I will do more checking on this. I can fill you in on the Bland side if you want.
