He is in the 1900 census of U.S. Military and Naval Forces stationed in the Philippine Islands, ( M or N station or vessel)-Inorong, District 195. In Company A 42nd Infantry.
He also listed as being in a "U.S. National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers" (database on Ancestry), once in 1912 in Bath, Stubeun Co. NY and first time 1914 in Dayton, Montgomery Co. OH. Then entry 1915, 1916, last 1931. Entries list his service as Company A, 42nd U.S. Infantry (Entered Buffalo, NY on Sept 7, 1899, Discharged Presidio, CA June 27, 1901) and the 202 NY Infantry (entered July 20, 1898 Buffalo NY, discharged Feb 1 1899 Buffalo NY by order of CO War Dept.)
While at Dayton has home residence as Buffalo NY with a wife Minnie.
