Help finding John Flynn please

John FLYNN was listed in the Youngstown, Ohio city directory 1900-1903 edition as a "soldier" at his father's address. No branch, rank, or posting listed.

I have not been able to find him in the 1900 census.

In the 1910 census, he is enumerated in Youngstown with his siblings (parents are deceased) as an engineer on the steam road, so he was no longer in the military in 1910.

I did not find him in The official roster of Ohio soldiers in the war with Spain, 1898-1899.

I have not found anyone who I can be sure is him in the 1920 or 1930 census.

But he filled out a WWI draft card for the third draft in 1918. So he was still in Youngstown in 1918.

DOB 16 Apr 1877

Would like to find out about his military service, and also what happened to him from 1920 on.
