From The Official Roster of Ohio Soliders in the War with Spain 1898-1899, there is listed a James W. Prindle age 30 yrs with the rank of Private. He was from Mt. Vernon in the
Fourth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry Unit. Company G-Marion
