Hello,

Would it be possible to see the image? We may be able to identify the uniform.

The bugle on the hat was a symbol of the infantry...but not in the Spanish American War period. The bugle, used during the Civil War era as a symbol of infantry gave way to crossed rifles by the time of the Spanish American War.

What were his dates of birth and death?

What clues have pointed you to the Spanish American War period?

Patrick McSherry
