Hi, I actually published a book with all the NE veterans. Spanish American War Veterans from Nebraska. Available from Willowbend books. Herron, Vilmare (their spelling) Company F, 1st Nebraska Infantry. He is shown as being born in Marsall, Indiana, age 23, broom maker, resides Madison, NE. Closest relative listed as George W. Herron, Grovertown, Indiana. Kate
