Is there a Bamban in the Philippines?

My grandfather was considered a Spanish-American War veteran with his service of Oct 26 1901-Oct 25 1904, but he left the Philippine Islands July 4, 1902. I have photos with name Bamban on the back. One is of a Bamban Railroad Station. What was going on there then? Any help appreciated.
