Yes, I already had the pension number. I tried to get the information through the Milwaukee VA. First, they went through the VA Records Processing Center in St. Louis. Then they went through the National Archives branch in Pittsfield MA. In both cases, the file was not found and was considered missing. These searches were conducted in 1993-1996. Do you think it's worth checking again? It's been a while; I may need a refresher on how to do all that again.
