For those researching veterans of the Spanish American War, one good place to start is the Spanish American War Centennial Website (http://www.spanamwar.com)

The website is constantly growing, but, to date, it has the following:

Searchable rosters containing over 45,000 veterans
Grave records for nearly 8,000 veterans
Nearly 150 histories of American military units
Over 200 first-hand accounts
Info. on medals, weapons, biographies, pay rates, etc.

The website is the home of the National Spanish American War Gravesite Recording Project. Be sure to have your relative included by providing the information required (see http://www.spanamwar.com/cemetery.htm )

Lastly, as always, the website is free and simply there for your use.
