Diane, You may have already tried these options. I will suggest them in case you haven't. Maurice came to Americaa in 1891. You can check ship manifests for 1891, maybe his parents came with him or the Ellis Island website. He was naturalized in 1904, most likely Monroe County, Wisconsin. You can try & locate the naturalization papers.You can also check the marriage records. Some states , such as Illinois, gave the grooms & brides parents names on marriage license applications.
