I want to thank you so much.. I never took an interest in History when I was in school and since doing genealogy I wished I would have listen more in school. Can you tell me how I can obtain records for him from the Spanish-American War? I would like to know more on what he did and why he died. He married in 1900 in Adair County, KY and he and his wife had a son in 1904 and in 1910 she was a widow. His headstone reads no dates only the military information. I would like to obtain his records, pension file or military records to see more about him. His family was in Texas and I guess that was his reason for being there and joining the Spanish-American War. By the way your site is GREAT.. so full of information I am overwhelmed but enjoy reading it! Thanks!
