Edward J. Martin/ Worcester,Mass.

I am looking for information on Company C, 2nd Regiment, MVM of Worcester, Mass. I have seen an obituary for my Great Aunt's husband, Edward J. Martin. (Her name was Charlotte "Lottie" Babbidge.) He was a Spanish American War Veteran, who served as a youth in Cuba. Later, he served as chief armorer, Worcester Armory. His obituary says he was "widely known in National Guard and State Guard circles." I am doing genealogy research for my family and I would be interested in any info on Mr. Martin and/ or history of the unit he served with during the war.
Thank you,
Christine Nordstrom
