Sixth Regiment of Artillery, Battery C
It seems that this war has been written about the lest of any and it is difficult to track information on the units involved and where they served.My grandfather George Crabb Sorrell was in the Sixth Regiment of Artillery, Battery C.He was station at Fort Mchenry, MD on March 23, 1899 when promoted to corporal and in Manila P.T. on July 9, 1900 when promoted to sargent.I have his orginal papers of promotion and also his issue book.Does anyone have or know of any journals, books or parts of forementioned on the Sixth Regiment of Artillery?He was a very funny man and used to sing us songs that same from that war.Thanks.
